Executive Summary
Lomeza is exclusively owned by our founder – Simon Mkhonza, and has been in operation since February 2015. Our offering includes; contract mining, mining consulting and mining coaching services specifically for the opencast coal mining industry. Lomeza’s offering is built on experience and credibility.
In the long-term we seek to incorporate underground mining, with a focus on other minerals; such as iron ore and base metals. We strive to extend our current services beyond our South African borders.
Lomeza’s approach is customer centric – we strive to deliver service excellence, ensure that we adopt a flexible attitude to our customers changing needs, and provide our services at market related costs.
Our Services
Lomeza operates within the coal mining industry in South Africa, employing competent and experienced contractors who are able to meet our customers need with effectiveness and efficiency. Although our current focus is on surface mining, we provide three specialised services that are applicable for both surface and underground mining.
Contract Mining
Open-cast truck and shovel mining systems as well as equipment solutions for stock pile management and mine rehabilitation.
Mining Consulting
Consulting services on equipment, operations, optimisation, resources, support, rehabilitation, and environmental monitoring solutions.
Mining Coaching
One-on-one coaching for miners, shift bosses and mine overseers. Our practical approach is delivered at the right level…
