Background

After a successful 27 year long career in the industry, Lomeza Mining Services (Pty) Ltd was established by Simon Mkhonza in February 2015. Mr Mkhonza’s extensive experience has allowed us to establish ourselves as a competent enterprise.

Following a successful seven month contract with Exxaro at Matla Coal Mine, we were awarded a five year contract to expose coal at the Leeupan Coal Mine. This requires significant funding for capital equipment, which we are in the process of securing and will cause our production capacity to double.

Our Track Record

During our three years of operation Lomeza has focussed on coaching, consulting and open-cast contract mining. We have demonstrated our expertise to both Kuyasa Mining and Exxaro Resources, allowing our portfolio to increase.
